As home to 5/6 of the UK’s population, it’s easy to understand why England has become eclectic melting-pot of the British Isles. With London as its capital as well as the capital of the UK itself, England boasts some of the most famous historical landmarks in the whole world. Home to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and the former center of Western Exploration and colonization, England has much to offer. From sampling the classic fish and chips to the tours that follow Jack the Ripper, this is a country steeped in history and culture that many of us can relate to.

Making the most of your visit to England means spending at least a little bit of time in London exploring. Take a stroll through Chinatown and Leicester Square then make your way to the historic city center, confusingly known as “The City of London.” If you’re interested in art and culture, head to South Bank on the River Thames to catch up with the vibrant art culture that is to be discovered!
