Busch Gardens Tampa Howl-O-ScreamIt’s October and Halloween’s in the air. At these Florida theme parks the screams aren’t just reserved for the roller coasters. Check out these events guaranteed to give a thrilling good time.

Busch Gardens, Tampa: Howl-O-Scream – “House of Vayne”
Are you in or out? Now in its 10th season, Howl-O-Scream is playing off of our obsession with models with “House of Vayne.” Meet the new face evil, the fashionable Ms. Vayne and her posse of deranged models. Scary activities include seven haunted houses, scare zones and chilling live shows along with wild roller coasters to keep the screams coming all night long. “House of Vayne” serves up horror during select Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31.

Universal Orlando: Halloween Horror Nights – “Ripped from the Silver Screen”
The not-so-timid will be trapped by “SAW’s” serial killer Jigsaw, be chased by the “Chucky” doll and meet the not so cordial “The Wolfman” during “Ripped from the Silver Screen” at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. During select October nights, visitors have eight haunted houses, six scare zones and two live shows all inspired by horror films, to “enjoy” pure terror.

Walt Disney World: “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween”

If being chased with a chainsaw or by zombies isn’t your style then check out “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween” at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The nighttime event includes a special parade, fireworks, trick-or-treating, and favorite Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes. A separate ticket is needed to attend and is being held during select dates in October ’til Nov. 1.
