Wayne Newton Celebrates 50 Years in Las Vegas with New Show
We’re not sure if Wayne Newton has any plans to leave Las Vegas soon but the celebrated entertainer just launched his new show “Once Before I Go,” at Tropicana Las Vegas. Newton has performed live to more than 40 million people over the past 50 years and no other performer can top that.
Wayne Newton and Las Vegas go hand in hand. He has grown up from a shy 15-year-old who rolled off a bus years ago to become the energy and glamor of Sin City. “Once Before I Go” encapsulates Wayne Newton’s life story and told by the entertainer.
Fifty years in the making, “Once Before I Go” features a full orchestra, photos and video, and latest in theater technology. The performance tells the story behind Newton’s signature tuxedo, his history with Elvis, the Rat Pack and many other tales.
As an added bonus, Wayne Newton has put his personal memorabilia collection on display for the first time ever. It’s part of the “Once Before I Go” merchandise store located next to the Tiffany Theatre. It features the performer’s personal costumes, antiques and photographs.
Catch “Once Before I Go” Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 p.m. in the Tiffany Theatre at Tropicana Las Vegas.
